A couple of years ago, my wife, Corinne, and I were invited to spend a few days with her old college boyfriend, John, and his wife, Ellen, that have retired and now live in Marble Falls, Texas. One morning, John took me to visit their ranch and while there he showed me this beautiful little scene of a spring that flowed out over some flat rocks with its quiet little waterfall. A talented landscape architect could not have designed a more beautiful and enchanting place.
